Mint Choc Chip Matcha

This matcha is lovely. The mintiness is great. Super delicious made into a matcha. I think one of my favourite matcha

I absolutely love all of the mint flavours of Bird and Blend matcha that I’ve tried and the loose leaf type teas with similar flavours too! Naturally, I thought blind buying this as it was only available in my area online— would be a no-brainer! All the tastes I love with the matcha I have had to switch to for my health. So thankful that Bird and Blend has so much variation so I’m not missing out on flavours I love! I was so excited to get this one - love chocolate and mint- especially together and anything Bird and Blend makes in this direction with teas that I’ve bought has thrilled me! Sadly, this was not the case at all. Unlike the creamy, hug in a mug Matcha flavour such as Buttermint- this one tasted of soapy bitterness, household cleaner aftertaste as well. I called Bird and Blend directly to exchange it as I’m an avid buyer/Brew Socitea member and have bought £1000s of tea/gifts- I was told I was wasteful and that the guarantee only applies to loose leaf! There were no terms and conditions anywhere stating this. I’ve usually had such outstandingly uplifting, cheerful, passionate and ever so helpful customer service interactions in store and online so this was shocking. I have a very bad taste in my mouth from this matcha and the customer service via the central telephone line! :(
