Inspired by the ancient classic Russian caravan tea that got its smoky flavour from the old tea trade routes, and the caravans evening campfires along them.
This is a pinewood smoked Lapsang Souchong black tea. Blended with Formosa Oolong sourced from Taiwan & Mao Feng Keemun sourced from China.

Got this in my subscription this month, the Smokey smell alone was off putting for me but I thought it might be ok once brewed.
It’s very Smokey. It’s like drinking water after it’s been used to put out a fire. No thanks lol had a few sips just to make sure it was definitely disgusting then it went down the sink and the packet went in the bin 😂
Definitely not my cup of tea, and I feel a very strange choice for the subscription given that it’s probably going to be very much love or hate type of tea.
